We are seeking an experienced Associate Director - Corporate Finance to join a dynamic and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead transactions, manage client relationships, and contribute to the strategic development of the corporate finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the leadership and management of the Corporate Finance team alongside Directors and Partners
- Lead and project manage corporate finance engagements, ensuring delivery within timelines and quality standards
- Take ownership of project execution, identifying and resolving issues ahead of Partner review
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and strategic objectives
- Contribute to the development of new and existing service lines
- Identify and convert new business opportunities into Corporate Finance engagements
- Play an active role in business development, proposals, and marketing initiatives
- Promote and support cross‑selling opportunities across the firm
Team & Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
- Conduct performance management, appraisals, and training
- Provide coaching and guidance to support team member's career development
- Act as a role model, fostering a high‑performance and collaborative culture
- Deliver clear, constructive, and timely feedback
Required Experience & Skills
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent), or relevant experience
- Strong experience within a Corporate Finance / Transactions environment
- Proven project management and leadership experience
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate finance activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Capital Markets transactions and knowledge of relevant legislation
- Track record in business development and client relationship management
