We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of technical change across a large-scale Energy Markets IT environment. This is a 6 month contract role.
Inside of IR35
£650 - £750
Hybrid working - Offices available throughout the UK
Must have experience of ETRM systems / trading.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture and technical design across Energy Markets systems and platforms.
Provide architectural governance and technical leadership to IT delivery teams.
Shape and drive cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure.
Essential Experience
Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
Strong background within the energy trading sector.
Extensive experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management Systems (ETRMS), including both legacy and cloud-based platforms.
Strong analytics and data platform expertise, including Databricks.
Hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-native Azure solutions.
Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tooling.
Experience leading architectural governance and technical change initiatives.
