We are supporting a major financial services organisation undergoing a significant MiFID II Order Record Keeping (ORK) remediation programme. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Markets Program Execution & Transformation team and drive delivery across a multi‑jurisdictional regulatory change initiative.
Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the EU & UK MiFID Order Record Keeping Project, overseeing proof‑of‑concept assessments, gap analysis, and implementation of changes across procedures, systems, controls, and governance. This role requires strong regulatory project delivery experience within Investment Banking/Markets, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively across Business, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Technology functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the MiFID II Order Record Keeping remediation programme.
- Chair project working groups and ensure robust governance structures.
- Create and maintain PM artefacts: project plan, RAID log, charter, RACI, progress reporting etc.
- Define implementation plans, track progress, and ensure delivery against timelines.
- Coordinate with Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Technology stakeholders.
- Oversee Business Analysts where required.
- Support design and implementation of procedural, documentation, system, and control changes.
- Ensure requirements are documented and BAU processes are fully established.
- Transition completed workstreams to BAU teams.
- Ensure all work complies with internal PMO / PTS standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years' Programme/Project Management experience within Investment Banking / Markets.
- MiFID II regulatory experience gained in a Tier 1.
