Information Systems Services is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Junior Security Analyst to work as part of the IT Security team at Lancaster University. If eligible, the appointee will receive on the job training as part of an apprenticeship scheme. The role is a full-time permanent based on site at the Lancaster Campus.

The Junior Security Analyst will be investigating security alerts and working with users and system owners to address identified issues. Using documented processes to deal with incident and requests, the role will involve a wide variety of technical challenges across multiple platforms.

You will combine your IT and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate investigation of security incidents take place with documented outcomes.

The post will be expected to work normal business hours, however on occasion there may be requirements to work outside those hours.
