We're looking for an experienced IT Change Project Manager to lead a major Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) technology implementation programme. Currently at the RFI stage, this role will be instrumental in driving the vendor selection process, establishing project governance, and ensuring the successful delivery of a strategic HSE platform across the organisation.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, risks, budgets, and third-party suppliers while ensuring alignment between operational requirements and technology solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme and play a key role in delivering a critical business system that supports compliance, risk management, and operational excellence.
Key skills and responsibilities:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale IT transformation and software implementation projects.
- Experience managing projects through RFI, RFP, vendor evaluation, and supplier selection processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior business and technology leaders.
- Experience developing and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, governance frameworks, and executive reporting.
- Ability to manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and internal delivery teams.
- Experience driving organisational change and ensuring stakeholder adoption throughout project delivery.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience within Health & Safety, HSE, EHS, Compliance, Risk, or Operational systems environments would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to work across multiple business functions to gather requirements and manage competing priorities.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid working with a London base.
- Occasional travel to the Birmingham office will be required for stakeholder meetings and project workshops.
- Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.
- Outside IR35 engagement.
