This is an opportunity to lead a well-established Business Intelligence function at a pivotal point in its evolution.

We're looking for an experienced BI leader who can combine strong technical credibility with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills. You'll inherit a highly capable team and play a key role in shaping how data, reporting and analytics support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

This role is about far more than delivering reports. You'll help drive a shift towards a more outcomes-focused BI function, ensuring data and insight are used to influence decisions, improve services and support long‑term organisational objectives.

The Opportunity

Leading a team of approximately 20 BI and Data professionals, you'll work closely with senior leaders to define the future direction of Business Intelligence, reporting and analytics.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing BI function and management team.

  • Shape the future BI roadmap and reporting strategy.

  • Drive greater adoption and business value from data and analytics.

  • Bridge the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders.

  • Review and enhance reporting services, user experience and self‑service capabilities.

  • Influence future technology decisions.

  • Ensure governance, compliance and data quality standards are maintained.

What We’re Looking For

We're keen to speak with leaders who can demonstrate:

  • Experience leading Business Intelligence, Analytics or Data teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with executive teams.

  • A solid understanding of BI architecture, reporting and data management principles.

  • Experience operating within complex organisations where balancing business needs and technical delivery is critical.

  • The ability to translate business requirements into meaningful insight and strategic outcomes.

  • A hands‑on leadership style with the credibility to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Experience That Would Be Beneficial

  • Leadership of medium‑size BI or Analytics functions.

  • Experience within regulated, governance‑led or compliance‑focused environments.

  • Exposure to forecasting, modelling and business performance reporting.

  • Knowledge of cloud‑based data platforms and modern BI technologies.

Why Join?

  • Lead a respected and established BI function.

  • Influence strategy and decision‑making at a senior level.

  • Manage a talented and engaged team.

  • Play a key role in shaping the future of data and analytics.

  • Significant scope to drive change, improvement and innovation.

If you’re a BI leader who enjoys combining technology, strategy and stakeholder engagement, this is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact in a genuinely influential role.
