Harvey Nash's Client have a requirement for a contract Project Coordinator.
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Programme Manager, you will support a conjoined approach to workforce planning and development.
A programmatic approach is envisaged which will take account of risks and opportunities, stakeholder management, programme, and commercial management.
- Key Priorities
- Support the Programme Director and Senior Programme Manager in providing leadership and programme oversight of the Programme.
- Ensure the successful introduction of new rolling stock with minimal disruption to operational services.
- Support programme governance, planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Assist with the coordination of infrastructure initiatives.
- Support the delivery of programme objectives aligned to cost, quality and timescale requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams.
- Experience supporting projects, programmes, PMOs or change initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to produce and maintain high-quality project documentation and reporting.
- Experience maintaining RAID logs, action trackers and programme governance documentation.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Professional accreditation in Project or Programme Management (PRINCE2, APM, MSP, PMQ or equivalent), or working towards certification.
- Experience within infrastructure or major capital programmes.
- Understanding of programme governance, risk management and project lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation or asset renewal programmes.
- Knowledge of PMO frameworks, reporting standards and programme controls.
