We are looking to speak to a Financial Accountant for a key finance role supporting statutory reporting, compliance, and core financial operations. You will work closely with teams across transactions, systems, and management reporting, while advising senior leaders on financial governance, legislation, and audit matters. The role is primarily based in Edinburgh with occasional travel to other sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Support timely, accurate statutory accounts in line with IFRS and FReM requirements.
- Contribute to periodic financial reporting and maintain dashboards and reporting tools.
- Work with the transactions team on payments, receivables, VAT, inventory, reconciliations, and cashbook activity.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and government bodies.
- Improve reporting processes within the Unit4 financial system.
- Assist in reviewing and updating finance policies, processes, and manuals.
