The Markets Program Execution & Transformation team works with all Global Markets businesses and multiple Citi functions, including Legal, Compliance, Finance and O&T to identify, mobilize and execute responses to regulatory and cross-business transformational projects. The primary mission of the team is to design and implement integrated solutions in the most efficient way for Markets and its clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth requirements gathering and apply reverse engineering techniques to deconstruct and understand legacy processes, workflows, and data flows.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities to inform the design of future-state solutions across Markets use cases.
- Review, critically assess, and summarise existing technical and business documentation to extract key insights and ensure alignment with current business objectives.
- Produce high-quality, structured documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process maps, and functional specifications to support solution design, stakeholder sign-off, and delivery governance.
- Design, write, and execute complex SQL scripts to extract, transform, and validate large datasets across multiple data sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in support of strategic business decisions.
- Lead and contribute to startegic data sourcing analysis in relation to diverse analytical use cases across Markets, ensuring solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with cross-functional business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams across Markets to elicit, document, and prioritise requirements, translating them into clear analytical frameworks and technical specifications.
- Assess and validate data quality throughout the pipeline lifecycle, partnering with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data standards, policies, and regulatory requirements relevant to Markets data consumption.
- Present clear, concise reports and presentations that communicate key findings and strategic insights to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels of seniority.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing analytical processes, tooling, and methodologies, driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in how data pipelines are monitored, consumed, and leveraged across Markets use cases.

- Strong & proven track record in data and business analytics is essential
- Has experience in Capital Markets and Technology with focus on data lineage and optimisation
- Strong experience in scoping, developing and prioritising plans for strategic initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce reports, documentation, and communicate with senior management. Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
- Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in strategic data lineage design and implementation
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
