A leading global financial institution is seeking a Loans Support Analyst to join its Finance & Product Control function on a contract basis. This role focuses on loan trade lifecycle accuracy, systems reconciliation, and supporting both front‑office and finance teams within a fast‑paced investment banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Loan Systems Reconciliation: Manage daily reconciliations between WSO (Wall Street Office) and Murex for loan trades and positions. Proactively follow up on outstanding issues and escalate aged breaks where required. Ensure lifecycle servicing events (e.g., paydowns) are accurately captured in WSO. Review and validate new trades, ensuring correct booking and downstream processing.
- Front-to-Back Coordination: Liaise with Front Office, Trade Support, Operations, and WSO teams to address restructures, amendments, and booking issues. Perform independent calculations of delayed compensation for daily P&L accruals. Review settlement and pricing memos, highlighting discrepancies.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience working in a professional office environment.
- Hands‑on experience with WSO is essential, knowledge of Murex highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of secondary loan market products.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
