A leading client in Central London is looking for a Field Service Engineer with AV expertise. The successful candidate will help define clients' experiences with advanced technology by working from the office and directly on client sites. Your work will be crucial - not only for quickly solving a wide range of technical problems, but also for actively supporting and improving the clients' infrastructures through outstanding service.
Success in this role depends on your ability to quickly adjust to different client systems and adopt new technologies. You will tackle complex challenges, showing patience and strategic problem-solving when difficulties arise. Our fast-paced Service team often faces fresh tasks that call for someone who can reevaluate priorities and make sound choices as situations develop.
Key skills and responsibilities:- Demonstrated expertise in operating conference room technologies, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, and BSS Soundweb systems, with advanced proficiency in both video and audio processing platforms.
- Consistently provide exemplary service across all client engagements by ensuring timely and effective escalation of incidents where ticket resolutions do not meet client expectations.
- Maintain full responsiveness to service tickets in accordance with established client SLAs.
- Participate in Service Reviews as required, addressing technical inquiries and offering recommendations to enhance clients' technical environments.
- Effectively answer calls and log tickets as appropriate, while taking ownership of resolving and closing tickets to the requester's satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits to address issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
- Possess strong knowledge of building technologies, such as access control, CCTV, building management systems (BMS), and lighting controls, coupled with a solid understanding of IT networking principles, including troubleshooting, IP addressing, VLANs, and cable testing.
