About the Role:
Harvey Nash\’s client are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of IT initiatives within the organisation. This role requires someone who can quickly adapt to new environments, build strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure smooth coordination of tasks across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior project managers in the delivery of IT projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate daily activities between technical teams, business users, and external vendors.
- Assist with risk, issue, and dependency tracking, escalating as required.
- Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and progress reports.
- Prepare and deliver status updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvements and project governance within the IT function.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in IT project coordination or project support (contracting experience desirable).
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced contract environment.
