We are seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a FLT (Counterbalance) safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm. Paid 40 hours per week (Paid lunch break of 30 minutes). Holiday Pay accrued. On Site Secure parking – Free.
Responsibilities:- Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage and any incidents or damages.
- Assist with materials handling and inventory management as needed.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track shipments and update inventory.
- Usage of fork attachments.
- Valid FLT Counterbalance certificate dated within the past 3 years.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, loading and unloading vehicles into the racking.
- Basic maths skills for inventory tracking purposes.
