Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating manual lathes to produce precision parts for various mechanical applications.
Responsibilities– Set up and operate manual lathes to fabricate metal components- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications- Maintain a clean and organised work area- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met
Qualifications– Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments- Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of materials handling techniques- Ability to work with logic controllers and tooling systems
