- Role Title: Warehouse Operative
- Reports to: Despatch Supervisor
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring all components are correct, complete, and protected.
- Support with loading of goods safely for transport, adhering to H&S and handling procedures
- Check documentation (delivery notes, labels, packing lists) for accuracy
- Inspect finished cabinets, doors, and components to ensure compliance with technical drawings, quality standards, and specifications.
- Identify defects or non-conformances of goods from internal and outsourced suppliers and initiate rework or corrective actions
- Complete quality checklists and documentation for production and audit purposes
- Assist in inventory control by flagging damaged or missing components.
- Intake of goods and placement in correct areas with necessary paperwork complete.
- Support ALL other areas and carry out required tasks when necessary.
- Provide FULL support to other members of the despatch team when required.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e. g. pallet trucks, forklifts)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
