We are urgently seeking an experienced Year-End Accountant on a short-term basis to support our client's financial close process. This is a hands-on role suited for a proactive professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalise year-end accounts in line with statutory requirements
- Liaise with internal teams and external auditors as needed
- Ensure all adjustments, reconciliations, and reporting are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain financial records in compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Provide insights or recommendations for process improvements, if applicable
Requirements:
- Proven track record of completing year-end accounts autonomously
- "Roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, this is a hands-on role with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Xero preferred (or ability to learn quickly)
- QBE (Qualified by Experience) or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
