We’re supporting a specialist indirect tax team that works with businesses operating across the UK, Europe and further afield, helping them manage their VAT compliance as they expand internationally. Due to this expansion, they're looking to appoint a VAT Compliance Associate to join the team. This would suit someone who enjoys working with data, is naturally curious, and is looking to build a long-term career within indirect tax.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Producing VAT calculations and reviewing supporting financial data
- Calculating VAT liabilities and ensuring accuracy each period
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and gather information
- Supporting additional filings including Intrastat, SAF-T and EC Sales Lists
- Assisting Client Managers with ad hoc tasks and projects
- Managing deadlines to ensure full compliance
- Building VAT knowledge through training and hands-on experience
