This firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its Kent office, working closely with senior members of the team within a busy and expanding practice. You’ll be joining a collaborative group of specialists, with access to high-quality work and the resources needed to continue progressing your career at a senior level.

What does this role entail? In this role, you’ll take responsibility for delivering high-quality legal advice across a range of employment matters, managing your own caseload while also supporting and supervising more junior fee earners. You’ll build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring a high standard of service delivery throughout. You’ll also play an active role in the wider success of the team, contributing to business development initiatives, supporting client pitches, and identifying opportunities to strengthen and grow client relationships. Alongside this, you’ll be involved in mentoring junior team members and helping to maintain the team’s collaborative and high-performing culture.

This role is well-suited to someone who is confident working autonomously, comfortable supervising others, and motivated to take on a broader role within a growing team.

For this role, you will ideally have:

  • 10+ years of post-qualification experience as a Solicitor
  • A stable career history within reputable Employment teams
  • Experience managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
  • Strong client relationship management skills and commercial awareness
  • Confidence contributing to business development and team growth initiatives
