Overview
We are working on the recruitment of an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a long established firm of chartered accountants in Worthing, West Sussex. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and stable team, carrying out a varied range of private client work including dealing with HNWI, trusts and estates. You will be managing your own clients, ensuring that all compliance is carried out as well as conducting some advisory work. While the role is mainly focused around private client work, there is also scope for involvement in corporation tax. The accountancy firm has a low turnover of staff and can offer a great work-life balance. They are based in a central Worthing location and offer free on site parking.
Responsibilities
- Manage own client portfolio of private client work, including HNWI, trusts and estates
- Ensure compliance is carried out for allocated clients
- Provide some advisory services to clients as appropriate
- Involvement in corporation tax work where applicable
Qualifications
- Qualified CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA or QBE
- Currently working in a UK accountancy firm in a tax-based or mixed role
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
