We are working with a Tunbridge Wells based legal firm to hire a Part Time Tax Assistant to join their growing private client team. This is an exciting, newly created role that offers scope for professional development within a genuinely friendly and supportive environment.
About the Role
You will join a leading Legal 500 Tunbridge Wells based firm, and will be working closely with the Tax Manager.
You will support fee-earners and clients with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns and capital gains tax returns. Submitting tax returns to the HRMC and liaising with our clients to gather the necessary information and provide updates. You will also be involved in some general administrative tasks particularly at quieter times of the year.

- Prior experience in preparing UK self-assessment tax returns.
- Experience in a professional services environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Comfortable using CCH persoanl tax software, or similar
- Proactive approach to work.
Pay range and compensation package
There’s more to a job than just the job. We’re flexible! If you have an interest and experience in this area, but don\’t match all the criteria, please get in touch. The role is part time, probably 25-30 hours per week. There is also the possibility of ATT study support once you have settled in.
