This is a superb opportunity to join a growing organisation based near Gatwick on an on-going temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent in time. Joining a small finance team and working on EITHER a 2 or 3 day per week basis, your focus shall be on:
- Preparing all aspects of Payroll for circa 200 people with the support of an external bureau
- Calculating overtime/ pay increases etc
- Operating as 'Payroll expert' for the company and dealing with subsequent questions
- Deducing tax and NI payments
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of Tax and Payroll laws
- Ideally worked in a stand alone Payroll capacity before but at least managed a similar sized Payroll (ie. circa 200+)
- An analytical mindset and be able to improve processes/ systems when and where needed
- Be comfortable working for either 2 or 3 days per week
- Be available to start a new role immediately
