Part-Time Indirect Tax Manager – Hybrid (London travel required 1 day/week). 12 month contract

You’re an experienced indirect tax professional who combines strong technical skills with a people-first approach. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Group Tax to keep the UK and overseas operations fully compliant, while strengthening tax processes and identifying opportunities for savings.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and oversee UK VAT and overseas sales tax returns.
  • Provide VAT advice and training to business units.
  • Keep VAT recovery processes and systems up to date.
  • Advise on legislation impacts and manage tax risks.
  • Maintain the group tax calendar and organise key documentation.
  • c.20 hours per week over 3, 4 or 5 days

What you’ll bring:

  • ATT and/or CTA qualification (or working towards it).
  • Experience preparing and reviewing VAT and overseas tax returns.
  • Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and best practice.
