This is an excellent opportunity to work within a small finance team, whereby you will be learning from an experienced CFO and working on an array of "hands-on" finance duties. This could suit either a nearly qualified accountant already working in industry and looking for their next move or, perhaps, a newly qualified accountant, working in practice but seeking their first move into a commercial setting.

Key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Management accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Running Payroll (on a small scale)
  • Supporting the CFO in financial planning matters

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • A fully or nearly qualified accountant (can be ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Comfortable working within a small finance team
  • Confident in the production of management accounts
  • Comfortable looking at improving systems and processes
  • Happy "rolling up sleeves" and getting stuck into the detail
  • Available to start a new position within a month of being offered one
