An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing, global organisation as a Junior Finance Analyst on a contract basis. This role would suit someone with strong transactional and analytical experience who is available to start immediately and keen to gain exposure within a fast-paced finance function.
Role overview:
- Process and validate supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain high-quality data across billing and finance systems to support accurate invoicing, revenue recognition and provisions
- Work to structured weekly processing cycles to support timely reporting
- Support the transition of manual tasks into automated workflows
- Assist with the development, testing and implementation of system enhancements and automated solutions
- Monitor automated reporting and exception processes, highlighting risks where manual intervention may increase
- Support monthly revenue and margin reporting, including accruals and provisions
- Work closely with finance colleagues to ensure supplier costs are reconciled, approved and processed correctly
- Respond to ad hoc queries from stakeholders across sales, finance and accounts teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
We’re looking for:
- Experience within transactional finance or a similar analytical role
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Clear and confident communication skills
