We have a great new opportunity for a finance manager/bookkeeper to join a growing professional services organisation in the Horsham area, West Sussex. Our client has been experiencing a period of extended growth and is now looking for an experienced finance manager/bookkeeper to look after their internal finance function.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

  • Billing and payments
  • Monitoring bank accounts and cash flow
  • Internal payroll
  • VAT
  • Month-end reconciliations
  • Producing management reports

As this is a small business, there will be various additional administrative work and ad-hoc projects. As the firm continues its growth, there is ample scope to develop the role and progress your career if you wish.

About you:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in a similar accounting role
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work with minimum supervision
  • AAT qualification or similar would be great as would experience in an accountancy practice
