We have a great new opportunity for a finance manager/bookkeeper to join a growing professional services organisation in the Horsham area, West Sussex. Our client has been experiencing a period of extended growth and is now looking for an experienced finance manager/bookkeeper to look after their internal finance function.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
- Billing and payments
- Monitoring bank accounts and cash flow
- Internal payroll
- VAT
- Month-end reconciliations
- Producing management reports
As this is a small business, there will be various additional administrative work and ad-hoc projects. As the firm continues its growth, there is ample scope to develop the role and progress your career if you wish.
About you:
- Extensive hands-on experience in a similar accounting role
- Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work with minimum supervision
- AAT qualification or similar would be great as would experience in an accountancy practice
