I am working with a well-known brand operating globally, looking for a new Head of Tax to oversee its tax, customs, and transformation agenda. This is a key leadership role within the Group Finance function, supporting business growth and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.
What you\’ll do
As Head of Tax, you will define and implement the global tax strategy, drive risk management, and ensure full compliance across corporate, indirect tax, and customs. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (including tech, finance, and supply chain), contributing to strategic decision-making and enabling the business to remain compliant, agile, and competitive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading all global tax operations and governance, including direct and indirect taxes
- Managing tax authority relationships and oversight of compliance and reporting
- Advising on business initiatives and supporting legislative change across multiple territories
- Managing a team of 10+ professionals and nurturing a high-performance, inclusive culture
- Driving continuous improvement in tax controls, reporting systems, and technology-enabled solutions
About you
You’re a qualified tax professional (ACA, CTA or equivalent) with experience operating in a listed, multinational environment. Your background spans corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and customs. You’re commercially savvy, a strong communicator, and thrive when solving complex cross-border challenges. Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is a passion for building collaborative and forward-thinking teams.
