The Company
An award-winning, family-owned retail business with 200+ UK locations is looking for its first dedicated Tax Manager, which comes at an exciting time as the company expands its online presence alongside its strong store network.
The Role
As Tax Manager, you’ll take ownership of the group’s tax affairs, with a slight focus on indirect tax (c.60/40). You will:
- Lead VAT compliance and manage all indirect tax obligations
- Oversee corporate and direct tax compliance, reporting, and governance
- Develop new tax processes and build an efficient in-house tax function
- Partner with senior stakeholders to advise on tax risks and opportunities
About You
- Strong VAT compliance experience
- Comfortable across direct and indirect tax
- Proactive and confident in creating new procedures
- Clear communicator with finance and non-finance colleagues
