This is a support opportunity to work within a brilliant business in Central London, reporting into a dynamic and forward-thinking CFO. It would be a superb opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a Finance Manager role and take "ownership" of the full accounting function.
I am open to speaking to those working in practice (perhaps even Audit-focused roles), as well as Management/ Commercial Accountants that are now looking to make that step up.
Key responsibilities from the off will include:
- The preparation of financial statements
- Oversight of month-end duties
- VAT Returns
- Running of Payroll
- Preparing Budgets and setting Forecasts
- Handling of Purchase and Sales Ledger too
The ideal candidate will:
- Be CIMA, ACCA, ACA fully qualified
- Have a good breadth of accounting knowledge - gained via work in Audit/ practice and/or an industry role
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be driven, with the passion to progress in the world of accounting
