A well-established and growing accountancy and business advisory firm in Camberley is looking for a Tax Assistant or Tax Senior to join their friendly office-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated tax assistant or tax senior looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking accountancy practice environment. This is initially a hands-on role, but with scope for career development and more exposure to advisory work as your career progresses.
The Role
- You will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, handling a wide range of compliance and some advisory work including self-assessment tax returns, CGT, SDLT, residency matters, trusts, pensions, MTD, and HMRC correspondence.
About You
- ATT qualified (or studying) or qualified by experience
- Strong personal tax knowledge, enjoys hands-on compliance work
- Up-to-date understanding of UK tax legislation gained in an accountancy practice
- IRIS experience preferred
- Organised, detail-focused, and confident communicating with clients
