We are recruiting for a new Audit Manager opportunity based in Horsham, West Sussex. The role involves working for a growing and ambitious, multi-sited accountancy practice with a diverse client portfolio. They will provide you with genuine autonomy, extensive client exposure and your own team to develop. The firm has enjoyed great success in the last few years, and has exciting plans to continue this growth, particularly in their audit offering.
This fantastic opportunity to join a lively and professional team will suit an experienced and qualified auditor with some existing management experience and who is looking for a role offering increased responsibility and career progression.
About the role:
- As audit manager you will oversee the full audit cycle across your client portfolio, leading, reviewing and finalising audit assignments, acting as the main point of contact for clients whilst ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and UK auditing standards.
- You will have your own team of trainees and more experienced accounts who you will coach and develop.
- You will work closely with the partners to ensure an enhanced client experience, and there is also the opportunity to be involved in business development and the growth of the firm.
About You:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Extensive audit experience within a small/mid sized UK accountancy practice, at Audit Manager/Assistant Manager level
- Confident managing client relationships and leading teams
- Keen to develop your audit career and work in a supportive and forward-thinking firm
- Organised, highly motivated and commercially aware
- Live within commuting distance of Horsham, West Sussex
