This is a superb and newly created opportunity to work across a dynamic and ambitious business based in the heart of Brighton. This would suit an ambitious, active AAT, ACCA, CIMA studier, perhaps with some experience of AP and AR but now wanting to learn more working alongside a qualified Financial Controller.
The content of this role is extremely varied and interesting, including:
- Accounts Payable and AR, including some Credit Control
- Supporting Payroll
- Bank Reconciliations
- Supporting with month-end duties
- Supporting with financial analysis
It is a role with "legs" and one that will evolve in time too.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be studying towards an accounting qualification - perhaps latter stage of an AAT or a finance graduate at the early stages of an ACCA or CIMA
- Be ambitious, with an eagerness to learn new things
- Be tech literate and confident at supporting improvements to systems or processes
- Be a real "roll up your sleeves" team player
- Have at least 1-2 years experience in a varied finance role, inclusive of AP and AR
