We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior to join a successful accountancy firm in Lewes, East Sussex. We are working with a firm of chartered accountants in Lewes, East Sussex to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing business services team.
In this key role you will be part of a professional and supportive team, and will be responsible for a portfolio of larger clients, preparing year-end and management accounts, and tax computations. You will also mentor more junior members of the team and liaise with other departments in the firm. There is plenty of training and support to help you maximise your skills, and there is plenty of scope to progress your career in the future. The firm are going through a period of growth and have ambitious plans to continue that growth in the future. They are based in modern, well-located offices and offer free parking.
About you:
- Extensive recent accounts preparation experience gained in an accountancy firm
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/AAT or at finalist level
- Good working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Organised, detail-minded with strong communication skills, used to liaising with clients and working with minimal supervision
