We’re partnering with a top-10 firm to find a Tax Technology Assistant Manager to join their in-house Tax Technology team. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to help drive AI and automation solutions across an entire national Tax business – with your “client” being the whole Tax team, nationwide.
Our client is a fast-growing firm with big ambitions: to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. Their Tax Technology team is small but growing, with a strong pipeline of exciting projects ahead – this is a rare chance to join early and help shape its direction as it scales.
About the Role
This is an internal, national, business-facing, high-visibility role. You’ll help drive AI and automation solutions across the Tax business, delivering high-impact implementations and working closely with internal and external developers to build innovative in-house technology solutions alongside the Tax Technology leadership team.
You’ll be proactive, results-driven and hands-on, ensuring projects deliver tangible benefits that empower Tax colleagues to provide premium client service and exceptional deliverables. There’s real scope for progression here, with the chance to make a significant impact on the Tax function nationally – and the potential to influence on a global scale, driving digital transformation within the wider Tax business.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Owning implementations end-to-end: identifying opportunities, defining requirements, and delivering AI and automation solutions that transform Tax processes, with the support of colleagues.
- Bridging business and technology: working closely with the Tax Technology team, Tax teams and technical developers to turn business needs into practical, high-value technology solutions.
- Driving change and results: taking ownership of projects, with support, ensuring successful adoption and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and client service.
- Collaborating and influencing: engaging with stakeholders across the Tax function to ensure alignment, clarity and impact – including running training sessions to upskill colleagues on new solutions.
- Testing and refining: participating in functional and user testing, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and deliver measurable results.
