We are hiring for an experienced Practice Bookkeeper to join a long established accountancy firm in Horsham, West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity if you already have at least a couple of years bookkeeping experience in a practice environment, and are now looking for a long term practice bookkeeper opportunity in a well run and highly regarded firm.
This will be a busy and varied role – preparing bookkeeping for a range of clients using Xero and Sage along with VAT and CIS returns, assisting with the preparation of management accounts and supporting the payroll team at busy times. You will be joining a well established and friendly team, offering plenty of training so you can develop your skills and progress your career. The firm are based in a central and easily accessible location in the Horsham area.
About you:
- At least a couple of years bookkeeping experience in a practice/multi-client environment
- Used to working with cloud based software such as Xero
- A skilled communicator, confident working with a range of clients
- Organised and detail minded
In return there is an excellent salary and comprehensive benefits package including 25 days holiday, free parking, and a generous pension scheme. There is some flexibility on hours and WFH a couple of days per week if required.
