I have been instructed exclusively on this excellent Head of Finance role based on the outskirts of Haywards Heath. Reporting directly into the Managing Director, you will operate as "number 1" and oversee a range of finance activities, including; AP/AR, Payroll and management accounting activities. Your role will centre on:
- Leading and motivating a team of 4 direct reports
- Preparing all aspects of management accounts
- Budgeting and Forecasting activities
- Signing off on Payroll and oversight of day to day accounting department
- Overseeing robust financial controls
- Handling end of year accounting matters
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience leading a small finance department before, including line management
- Have forecasting experience
- Have prepared management accounts in the past
- Hold a full CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification
