Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters, ranging from straightforward estates to high‑value, technically complex administrations.
  • Handle taxable and high‑net‑worth estate administrations.
  • Advise on trusts and assist with trust administration.
  • Support elderly and vulnerable clients, including powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, exercising significant autonomy.
  • Build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Working Environment

Join a friendly and collegiate team. Hybrid working is available following an initial settling‑in period; the successful candidate is expected to work from the office at least three days a week. Full time is preferred, with a minimum of four days per week considered.

Qualifications

  • At least five years’ PQE, with consideration for less experienced candidates who demonstrate strong technical ability.
  • Strong experience in probate and estate administration, including taxable and high‑net‑worth estates.
  • Some experience advising on trusts and trust administration.
  • Experience advising elderly clients, including powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently.
  • Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A practical, personable, and proactive approach to client work.
