We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Tax Manager to join a leading international business with a portfolio of some of the UK’s most recognised and well-loved brands in the hospitality sector on a part-time contract.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director , you’ll lead tax compliance, accounting, and governance across operations in the UK, Ireland, and the USA, whilst playing a pivotal role in shaping the group’s tax strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Corporate Tax Compliance: Ensure seamless compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Own Tax Reporting: Prepare tax disclosures for the annual report and keep accurate tax ledger accounts.
- Manage Cash Tax Forecasting: Oversee quarterly tax payments and develop robust cash tax forecasts.
- Ensure VAT & Governance Compliance: Manage VAT compliance for the UK group and ensure adherence to SAO and CCO frameworks.
About You:
- ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA qualified with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong expertise in corporation tax and working knowledge of VAT and employment duties.
- A confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and manage external partnerships.
- Commercially aware with a proactive , solutions-focused mindset.
