Responsibilities:
- Providing a full bookkeeping service to a range of clients using cloud‑based software.
- Managing accounts, preparing management accounts, VAT and CIS returns.
- Assisting in the production of year‑end accounts and tax returns.
Qualifications:
- Extensive previous experience of bookkeeping for multiple clients, ideally in a multi‑client/accountancy practice environment.
- Good working knowledge of cloud‑based accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online.
- Organised, detail‑minded with strong communication skills.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Live within a reasonable commute of Bexhill‑on‑Sea for a largely office‑based role.
