We are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a modern and successful chartered accountancy firm in their office in Brighton, East Sussex. Are you an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant, have experience within a general practice role and now you’re looking to push your career forward in a new and challenging environment? Based in a central location in the heart of Brighton, East Sussex, you’ll be joining a fast growing and forward thinking accountancy firm.
Working with a varied and interesting client portfolio, your new job will cover a range of accounts and tax work as well as being responsible for reviewing and overseeing the work of more junior members of the team, being the point of contact for client queries and advice, and getting involved in business development activities. In this client facing accounts manager role you’ll be supported and encouraged to use your own initiative and develop your management skills with the opportunity for rapid career progression.
What we’re looking for:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- A strong general practice background, experienced in working with SME clients and managing a portfolio
- Strong technical skills, ambitious and highly self motivated
- Used to reviewing the work of junior colleagues
- Currently working as an accounts manager, or an ambitious senior ready to take the step up
- Live within commuting distance of Brighton
