Our client are a specialist Refurbishment and Fit Out Main Contractor who deliver projects ranging from £1.5 - £15M and an annual Turn Over of circa £50M. They are looking to recruit a permanent Project Manager to manage the life cycle of projects in the Thames Valley area, occasionally required to go into London.

A Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A Project Manager's key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Managing the contract side of the project from Tender Handover through to completion.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes and resource plans.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
  • Managing risk control.
  • Leading project meetings and providing regular updates and reports to clients and their teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Contributing to business development through client relationship management.
  • Providing experienced and effective leadership to each member of the project.
  • Exhibiting excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Showing exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Committing to continuous professional development.
  • Leading team meetings to engage, motivate, and improve performance.
  • Reporting aspects of the project to Clients, Contracts Managers, Head of Operations, Directors, and any other relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaising with the Technical Services Team to ensure the delivery of Design and Drawings, capturing any additional cost, programme delay, or external influence that may affect project delivery.
  • Promoting and driving health and safety.
  • Controlling costs while liaising with the project Quantity Surveyor to produce monthly reports.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, while promoting and demonstrating the company's values.
  • Ensuring quality control and Handover documentation.

The successful applicant must have experience managing internal fit outs, can be from any sector, apart from Residential. Remuneration to be discussed on application.
