Freelance Site Manager – Roll out
Our client has secured a 14 month roll out across around 80+ locations covering London (north of the river), Essex, Herts, Beds, part of Northants, Cambs, Suffolk & Norfolk.
Role Overview
Reporting into a Project Manager, the work is for a well known Supermarket chain. Each store in this region needs a location where customers can return their recycling into machines that will then give them money off in store.
Project Phases
- Phase 1 – Predominantly groundworks oriented: data and power, alterations in the car park area, new concrete slab (2‑week programme), then move to the next location.
- Phase 2 – Installation of steel frame and glazing, roof etc., again circa 2 weeks in programme duration.
Duration and Locations
In total, the client will require four Site Managers for this region, starting around 20th/27th July 2026 until August/September 2027.
Requirements
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong focus on safety as the works will be carried out in a live environment.
- Must have a Black or White CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid as a minimum.
- IT literate.
- The applicant must live within the geography of the work being undertaken.
