Harvey Hughes Ltd is an independent rural consultancy firm that provides professional support and technical advice to farmers, landowners, and rural businesses. We are a highly qualified team, offering a diverse range of services, including farming consultancy, technical support, and business management across North West England.
We are looking for a recent graduate with agri-business experience or someone who is currently working in the agricultural sector and wanting a career change.
RoleYou will provide a range of services to our existing clients covering a mixture of management and professional work whilst developing new business for the company.
- Providing professional business advice and consultancy services to farmers and rural businesses
- Developing management plans, financial forecasting, and technical report writing
- Close collaboration with clients and identifying opportunities for business growth and efficiency improvements
- Full-time on-site role based in Northwich, Cheshire
You must be an enthusiastic self-starter, working within a small team and capable of managing your own workload and deadlines.
- An HND/BSc/MSc in an agricultural discipline
- Commercially minded with a practical understanding of technical consultancy of an agricultural business
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, market trends, and modern farming techniques
- Excellent On-Farm communication skills
- Ability to travel within the region as required by the role.
Salary from £25k (based on experience). Holiday allowance 23 days plus 8.
