About the Role
Harvey Group is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Joiner to join our Facilities Management team.
This is a mobile role involving planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and minor project works across a range of commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial client sites throughout Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will have a strong commercial background and be capable of delivering high-quality joinery and multi-trade works in live environments while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and planned joinery maintenance works across client sites
- Complete first and second fix joinery tasks including doors, frames, ironmongery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and general fabric repairs
- Undertake fire door inspections, maintenance and remedial works (where qualified)
- Carry out minor multi-trade works including patch plastering, tiling, basic plumbing and general building fabric repairs
- Respond promptly to FM helpdesk tasks within agreed SLAs
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
- Complete digital job sheets and compliance documentation accurately
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment
- Provide a professional and courteous service to clients and building occupants
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Demonstrable experience working in a commercial maintenance or FM environment
- Experience working in occupied / live buildings
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good IT skills for completing digital job reports
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in Facilities Management contracts
- CSR / CSCS Card
- Fire door inspection or fire-stopping experience
- Additional trade skills (plumbing, tiling, plastering, etc.)
