The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join our clients team. This is a hands-on role responsible for stock control, order picking, goods movement and supporting production operations to ensure materials are available when needed.
Key Duties:
- Pick and prepare parts accurately for production teams.
- Pack and dispatch customer orders to a high standard.
- Monitor stock levels and carry out regular stock checks.
- Receive, store and move goods safely across the site.
- Update stock records and maintain accurate inventory data.
- Liaise with purchasing and production teams regarding stock availability.
- Assist with yard organisation and deliveries using FLT equipment.
- Support continuous improvement of stock and warehouse processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in stores, warehouse, or stock control environments preferred.
- Good attention to detail and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy or bulky items.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
- Experience with SAP, barcode scanners, or Kanban systems is advantageous but not essential.
