We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to join our client's dynamic sales team within the automotive sector. This is a customer-facing role focused on managing key OEM relationships, delivering strong commercial performance, and supporting new business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with OEM customers
- Take ownership of customer performance, service levels, and outcomes
- Support sales strategy through market analysis and reporting
- Lead CRM processes, ensuring accurate data and regular updates
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain) to meet customer requirements
- Handle customer negotiations, quotations, and commercial discussions
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
- Support audits, compliance updates, and product changes
- Attend customer meetings and contribute to business growth initiatives
About You
- Degree-educated (business-related preferred)
- Experience in a customer-facing sales role within a commercial environment
- Background in automotive
- Strong analytical and financial understanding (P&L, margins, etc.)
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
