We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced QHSE Advisor to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across the organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive professional who enjoys being operationally involved, working closely with teams across the business to drive compliance, improve standards and promote a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain QHSE policies, procedures and compliance standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, environmental and quality legislation and standards
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems
  • Deliver toolbox talks, training and promote a positive safety culture
  • Produce and review RAMS and support corrective action plans
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding QHSE matters
  • Monitor incidents, trends and environmental impacts, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Provide practical day-to-day support across operational areas

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a QHSE, SHEQ, or Health & Safety role
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems and auditing processes
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments desirable
  • COSHH awareness and experience conducting risk assessments
  • Strong communication, organisational and IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
