We are working in partnership with a leading facilities management provider to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects within a long-term PFI contract, supporting both lifecycle and capital works across a complex, high-profile environment.

You will play a key role in managing all commercial aspects of projects from start to finish, including subcontractor applications, valuations, change control, cost reporting and final accounts. You will also support tendering activity, pricing of new works and the production of key commercial documentation. Working closely with project managers and senior stakeholders, you will ensure contractual compliance, robust cost control, and accurate monthly reporting, including CVRs and forecasting. There will also be the opportunity to support and develop junior members of the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (desirable)
  • Strong contractual and commercial awareness
  • Experience within FM, construction, or PFI environments (preferred but not essential)
  • Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders
