Storm Maintenance is seeking an experienced, qualified and reliable Gas Safe Registered Heating Engineer to join our growing property maintenance team across London and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing domestic gas boilers, central heating systems and associated heating equipment across residential and managed properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic boiler servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve boiler breakdowns and central heating faults.
- Complete landlord gas safety inspections and issue Gas Safety Records.
- Install, repair and replace heating components, radiators, valves and associated pipework.
- Carry out boiler installations and replacements where appropriately qualified.
- Perform gas safety checks and ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Attend planned and reactive maintenance appointments.
- Identify faults, recommend appropriate repairs and provide clear reports.
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional standards.
We are looking for a self-motivated, professional engineer who can work independently, manage daily appointments and deliver safe, high-quality workmanship.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Current Gas Safe registration with appropriate domestic gas work categories.
- Valid ACS qualifications relevant to the work, including CCN1 and CENWAT or recognised equivalents.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant domestic gas and heating engineering experience.
- Strong experience in boiler servicing, fault finding and repairs.
- Experience working with domestic central heating systems.
- Ability to carry out landlord gas safety inspections and complete the required documentation.
- Good knowledge of gas safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and professional workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with combi, system and conventional boilers.
- Experience working with landlords, letting agents and property management companies.
- Manufacturer-specific boiler training.
- Experience with heating controls and smart thermostats.
- Additional plumbing and general property maintenance skills.
- Experience with boiler installations and heating system upgrades.
