The Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks CRNAs with a passion for patient care to join our top-rated group practice. Our network expansion has opened up opportunities at many locations, including our prestigious academic center in Boston and at seven community hospitals in Eastern Massachusetts. We have a proud tradition of superb care, a stimulating case mix, and a culture of respect for our clinical staff.
We are hiring for our academic group: Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) is the employed provider group of BIDMC with an exclusive affiliation agreement for patient care, research and teaching. Our collective physician groups comprise 1,900 providers for patient care, research and teaching.
Our Practice:
- Collaborative Anesthesia Care Team model, SRNA clinical rotations and Resident training make a dynamic and challenging teaching environment
- 1 academic center (BIDMC), 7 community hospitals
- Diverse case mix; including General Surgery, Trauma, Regional, Neurosurgery, Thoracic, Transplant, Vascular, Cardiac, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, GYN, ENT, Urology, GI, Endoscopy and sports medicine
Skills & Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with current licensure to practice in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse in the expanded role of nurse anesthetist.
- Graduation from a school of anesthesia accredited by the AANA.
- Certification to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist and maintenance of that certification as required by guidelines established by the Council on Recertification of the AANA and by the State of Massachusetts.
- Ability to make sound judgements, analytical and physical abilities and manual dexterity to function as an anesthesia care provider.
- Ability to administer all types of anesthetics, using a variety of techniques and function with minimal direction and guidance.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a collaborative situation with anesthesiologist, CRNA’s, other health care providers and office staff.
