The opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Systems Specialist to join our Digital Workplace and Employee Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, expertise in system integrations, and a passion for leveraging automation to enhance productivity. In this role, you will be responsible for managing integrations between Microsoft products and other systems and supporting the implementation and use of automation tools, like Microsoft Power Automate, across various teams at Harvard Business Publishing. This position will report to the Associate Director, Digital Workplace and Employee Infrastructure.
What you'll do:
- Offer expertise in integrations between Microsoft products like Entra and Active Directory, and other systems such as Workday or Okta.
- Understand and support the use cases and security implications of implementing and supporting automation tools, like Microsoft Power Automate.
- Collaborate with various business units to support automation initiatives and increase productivity.
- Administer Jira and Confluence to support project management and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support, especially for Microsoft products.
What you'll bring:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise system integrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You'll stand out if you have:
- Experience with Microsoft Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Active Directory.
- Experience promoting self-service systems.
- Experience in administering Jira and Confluence.

- Experience with PowerShell or other scripting language.
